I got my trunky email!

And now e'ery body be makin fun of me, but then I just hold up 3 fingers to silence 'em. :D

Hello to everyone!

So for the past week  I have been showing to Elder Lacdao our area. I really like Elder, he's actually really nice and funny. And he actually likes to be a Zone Leader, even though he doesn't really know it yet. Hehehe...

Well... Not a whole lot is really happening right now. I think I have a few pictures to send, I've just been trying to focus more on getting my work done here since I don't have a whole lot of time left.

#WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So something has happened. Obviously. #Duh

Well, Elder Bedonia got transferred today. He actually got assigned to one of my former areas, Tapi! :D So it will be a good area for him. We also got a new assistant and like half of my zone got transferred... But I'm still a zone leader. STILL.

But for other things, I'm doing okay. Missionary is one of the hardest things but has the most rewards. Granted I wake up most days tired and not feeling up to it, I manage to do it anyways and live another day.

So mission tour was a hoot! Who even says that anymore? I don't even know, I just have been saying a lot of random stuff lately. #Murica

Well, I think that's pretty much my week. This week is put-the-pedal-to-the-metal-and-go week. I feel like destroying it. #Pumped #MagingPisanNakoYa

Well, I'll get to pictures. Peace be unto you.

#BusyIsTheOnlyWordIKnow

But it doesn't even begin to explain how busy I really am...

Hello to all!

So For the next few days we have yet another mission tour. And our apartment is now what is called a hosting apartment, which basically means that random missionaries will randomly be staying at our apartment... Randomly. So that will be fun. Also, Elder Bowen is the one presiding over the tour, so he will check a few apartments in the mission... And guess who he decides to go check? The elder's that live basically down the street from the Mission Home (which is us). So just another thing to say I've done. #AreaPresidency #ApartmentCheck #BAKITKAMI?!?!

So yes I was sick... And that "little birdie" is in trouble. She know's it too. :D But we all good now, I'm just not supposed to tell Mom those kind of things because she goes mom-mode and freaks out on me. But we're okay now. #LittleBirdie

Well, I think it's time for me to say that being a zone leader is... Challenging. But I've been trying my hardest, and I've been seeing the success come little by little. And so I'll just keep at it until they finally tell me I can go home.. Whenever that will be :D #GoodTrunky #IThinkIGotThis #WhyDoIStillDoHashtags

I will actually get to pictures this time, since I have enough time for once. :D

Peace off!

Sorry I don't have much time for explanations, but it's my baptism, a McDonalds that only sells ice cream, Dorian (the smelly but really good tasting fruit), My eye again for no reason, and an orange. :D

I think it's pretty funny that he sent this one to me upside down.

This Week In Paradise

Hello family and friends and acquaintances and anyone who decides to read this!

This past week has been slow. Not a whole lot has happened, or I'm just used to being in a city. It's been nice though, having another american in the apartment though, I've been able to get a lot of my English back! :D  And I have been able to get a lot of things made better. Like it's been really nice to be here in Bata, to be the Zone Leader, and to just do all that fun stuff. But right now I'm just trying to make it through each day so I can get home. My companion has been making things interesting, since he will be the next set of missionaries to go home. Transfer day is in like two weeks, and one of them is an assistant to president. So everyone has been trying to prove themselves worthy for the spot, and after everything president has said about how he chooses his assistants and how no one should aspire to be an assistant, I think I'll let that go. Jake has to beat me in his mission somehow, right?

So Andrew is out? Or is at least going to be. Just to be safe I'll ask for his email, even though I probably already know it. :D

Well, the baptism we had DID go through! But with a little bit of a surprise. We were supposed to start at 2 o'clock, but Bishop texts us to wait. So about an hour later, he shows up with about 8 more people. Child of record! :D She was such a nice girl. But apparently they had scheduled her baptism at 4, but no one told us until we were already at the church. But it was okay, it made the baptism better. We had some investigators attend the baptism, which was nice.

Don't really have much else to say. I'll get the pictures off in a bit.

So Today Is a Good Day

So right now as I write this, my companion is taking an English test and getting an x-ray taken... (stuff that you do when you're going home, so I'll be doing too sometime soon) So currently I have a temporary companion who is ALSO from California! :D   ((Elder Evans is from somewhere near Los Angeles.  I asked and that was all he told me about him.))

Well this past week has just been Elder and I getting stuff done so Elder can go home in 2 months. Today is just finishing that up so that way it's done. But when he goes home I'll be doing the same stuff... It's kind of weird thinking I'll be home soon. But it'll be nice too. I've been spending time thinking about what I wanna do when I get home. I think I'm gonna just stick with cars. Usually that's all I really think about lately, but that has to wait a few more months before I can actually do that.

Not gonna lie, I've been feeling trunky. #INeedToGoHomeAlready #4MonthsLeft #Trunky

But on the brighter awesome side, we have a baptism finally! The area I'm in right now hasn't had one in a while, but we've been working hard to get this area going. We've had problems here, but we can handle it. It's just getting the members to start helping too. But we've started to make some progress! But we gotta keep going in order to get that ball rolling.

Side note, I start reading D&C this week! I think either Friday or Saturday, not entirely sure. #SoCloseItsWeird

Well I really don't have much else to say right now. I really don't have pictures either, but I will next week. Maybe. #DidITakeAPicture? #NoSelfies

More conversation about my mentioning him getting married someday in my email:

Elder Archuleta:  You're not expecting me to get home and get married right away are you?
Mom:  NO!!!!!
Elder Archuleta:  Good 'cuz that wasn't happening anyways.
Mom:  Good, because dad might die if you did.  Hahaha
Elder Archuleta:  I would too. I'm not tying myself down. THIS MAN GONNA LIVE FIRST.

I love this boy of mine.  :)
