This past week has been slow. Not a whole lot has happened, or I'm just used to being in a city. It's been nice though, having another american in the apartment though, I've been able to get a lot of my English back! :D And I have been able to get a lot of things made better. Like it's been really nice to be here in Bata, to be the Zone Leader, and to just do all that fun stuff. But right now I'm just trying to make it through each day so I can get home. My companion has been making things interesting, since he will be the next set of missionaries to go home. Transfer day is in like two weeks, and one of them is an assistant to president. So everyone has been trying to prove themselves worthy for the spot, and after everything president has said about how he chooses his assistants and how no one should aspire to be an assistant, I think I'll let that go. Jake has to beat me in his mission somehow, right?
So Andrew is out? Or is at least going to be. Just to be safe I'll ask for his email, even though I probably already know it. :D
Well, the baptism we had DID go through! But with a little bit of a surprise. We were supposed to start at 2 o'clock, but Bishop texts us to wait. So about an hour later, he shows up with about 8 more people. Child of record! :D She was such a nice girl. But apparently they had scheduled her baptism at 4, but no one told us until we were already at the church. But it was okay, it made the baptism better. We had some investigators attend the baptism, which was nice.
Don't really have much else to say. I'll get the pictures off in a bit.
